Should I use single-mode or multi-mode fibre?

It depends on distance and bandwidth. Multi-mode suits shorter runs inside a building or between floors. Single-mode carries further, between buildings or across a site. We assess your routes and recommend the right fibre for each run.

Can fibre run between separate buildings?

Yes. Fibre is well suited to long backbone runs between buildings on the same property. We handle the pathway, splicing and termination at both ends, so your buildings share one network.

Do you test the fibre after installation?

Yes. We test every strand for loss and continuity before we hand it over, and we give you the documented results. That way you know the link performs and you have a record for later.

Why fibre instead of copper?

Fibre carries far more bandwidth over much longer distances than copper, and it is not affected by electrical interference. For backbone runs between floors or buildings, it is the reliable choice where copper reaches its limit.
